Fire Curtains

          Fire curtains are used as a passive system as an element of the building in order to block the heat. Curtains, which are made of fiber material covered with silicone on both sides and containing steel ropes, are a curtain system used to prevent the passage of fire from one area to another.

          By courtesy of its special fabric, it keeps high heat for long periods of time and provides ease of movement and fire fighting. Curtains, which can be integrated into the existing fire detection system, start to work automatically in case of danger. Fire curtains are used for the purposes of controlling and blocking smoke and heat, keeping the corridors leading to escape routes clean in terms of life safety, and creating safe zones according to our fire regulations. There are fire curtains that work horizontally and vertically, and they are assembled by giving importance to architecture and design. A vertical fire curtain is also used as a fire door and has been preferred especially in hospitals, student dormitories and homes in recent years.
