Fire Rated Wooden Doors

           Wooden doors -which we all are accustomed to seeing in common areas and even in our homes- are doors that are non fire rated or can be fire rated for 30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes depending on the location and requirement. Fire rated wooden doors can be preferred as metal case wooden leaf or wooden case wooden leaf. The determining factor in these preference options is the area where the door will be used and the standards determined for this area.

           The components of wooden fire doors vary according to the frequency of use of the doors, the functions expected from the doors and the frame-leaf types. For example, doors with metal frame wooden leafs are used in buildings such as schools, hospitals, public institutions and doors with wooden frame wooden leaf are used in buildings such as hotels, student dormitories, offices, business centers. Especially the technical details of the wing and frame are very diverse, and these are components where aesthetic concerns are at the forefront.

           Fire doors supplied or manufactured by IQDoors have been tested and certified according to EN, BS, and DIN norms. Wooden fire doors can be in various laminate colors, industrial wood veneer decors, natural veneer varieties and RAL colors that we are accustomed to metal doors.  Doors can have fire rating certificates such as E, I and EI, as we are used to seeing in metal doors. Our wooden fire doors have EI2 30, EI2 60 and EI2 90 certificates. we give a written certificate that reports door's fire rate with each door we sell. There is the date of manufacture, fire resistance period, certificate number and serial number printed on the metal plaque on each door
